NLP Lab

NLP Lab at Stevens Institute of Technology University is a research group led by Jia Xu. NLP lab is started in January 2019 with a broad focus on AI, including language modelling, representation learning, machine translation, and machine learning. Our lab is creating methods for competitive NLP systems. These methods often push things beyond the state-of-the-art. To achieve this, we are:

• devising general machine learning methods,
• studying their empirical and theoretical limitations,
• incorporating geometric, subsampling, ensemble, and interpretability techniques into structured prediction.
